This main-season variety picks over a long period and produces attractive, glossy fruit with a distinct conical shape and excellent flavour. The berries are large (4-7 grams), firm and cohesive.
Tulameen has few spines and produces easily managed canes of up to 2 metres. It is susceptible to Root Rot and cane disease but superior to most other varieties with regard to Botrytis.
These canes are derived from the German Stock which was identified by the recent HDC Trial as having superior fruit shape and cohesion.
